Eh...it is pretty much just angsty bitch songs...but it gets the steam out. 

I am entering both of them in a singer/songwriter contest at school.  Hopefully they will do well!

MSU is currently hosting the Pan African Festival.

This means a couple of things:

1. Frank Davis, the most wonderfully talented, hilarious, beautiful, amazing guy i know is in town from texas and I getto hang out with him.  What a lucky girl i am!

2.  There have been some amazing conferences and performance going on aruond the school which have been amazing. 

3. Gospel choirs....nuff said

It has been a grat experience. Tonight i performed India Arie's "Ready for Love".  It went...ok

There are a couple of things that I forgot to mention in my last post about what I have been up to...for those of you who care! haha

* I dyed my hair bright red for about seven months...it was awesome, but i ended up going back to my old brown...it was time for a change

*I became a music industry major and I am LOVING every second of it.  I am learningso much about the industry and what it takes to make it.

*I won MSU's "idol" competition...it is weird to get rcognized in public...but it is also way fun.

I guess that I don't really know what else to write about....

ha! for once in my life...i am speachless (well...wordless)

Well shut the fuck up!

So apperantly, this thing still exists....weird huh?  who would have thought....

Well, since according to xanga, i have dropped off of the face of the earth...iw ill explain what I have been up to.

Let's see...Well, i am still in school at MSU.  I am a proud sister of the alpha chi omega sorority ( i know right?), i have been dating on and off...nothing serious. I am still doing choir and voice and what not.

Since the last time that I wrote, i became the manager of the band The Evermore Escape, and they are absolutaly amazing.  They just recently went full band and are recording their second album this spring. 

I have been working at Perkins as well as overnights at a hotel here in Mankato...i am going to die because of it....

I am living with the most amazing wonderful person in the world, whose name is Liz Corrie, and she is one of the best friends that anyone could ever ask for.

I have a number of other amazing friends including:

my ben who although we have fallen away from each other(thanks to his girlfriend who hates me, but whom he loves) we still love each other dearly and see each other when the old ball and chain will allow it. 

Steph who is from the cities and is amazing.  We spend a lot of our time writing and recording music together.  She is nuts and unpredictable and honest and loves to drive around mankato with me looking for food that doesn't come with a supersized option.  She is all in all a great friend.

Braden...duh

Brandon, who i love to fuck shit up with.

CP, who loves to drive and we have taken many, many road trips  where we basicallyListen to music really loud, chain smoke, and talk about issues.  Really rockin' times.

Shawn who is a law enforcement major, and a all around stand up guy.  We have many sleepovers and on the weekend when he is at home working for the maple grove police station, his girlfriend Bridget and I enjoy sneaking into his room and "decorating"...which basically means that we plaster porn all over the walls and put our two sororities colors up everywhere in streamers.

Ian "Boyd!" we love to get a lot of junk food and watch movies when we feel depressed...or really any time...We also like to make fun of each other...a lot...It is a very healthy relationship...haha

Other than that, there are all of the greeks...we have become like a big family...albiet a disfunctional one...but a family nonetheless.
